Job Description

As a Security Accreditation Support Specialist you will:
  • Work closely with the Office of Security and DevSecOps engineers to align cloud environment improvements with security accreditation policies.
  • Draft necessary paperwork regarding processes procedures policies and governance.
  • Ensure the implementation of security controls in various domains such as Audit and Assurance Application and Interface Security and Business Continuity Management.
  • Document how security controls are implemented by drafting processes procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to understand the cloud environment and how tools interact with it.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A university degree in a technical subject with substantial IT content and at least 3 years of specific experience.
  • Alternatively at least 5 years of extensive and progressive expertise in security accreditation support tasks.
  • Expert level in at least three of the following areas: AWS cloud environments Linux system engineering network engineering and security architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWSspecific accreditation requirements such as AWS WellArchitected Framework AWS Security Best Practices and AWS Compliance Programs.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices industry standards and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. PCIDSS ISO 27001 SOC 1 SOC 2).
You should possess the ability to:
  • Perform effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and coordinate mitigation and remediation actions.
  • Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders for accurate information sharing.
  • Prepare and conduct Cyber Incident Task Force (CITF) meetings and track progress.
  • Provide administrative support for CITFs and Incident Coordination and DecisionMaking Groups (ICDMGs).
