Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IS Security Technical Expert to join our team within the CIO Offices Information Security department. You will report to the Teamleader of the Protect team and your primary responsibility will be to manage optimize and implement security processes. This role involves providing technical recommendations and overseeing the security systems performance and integrity.
If you have a strong background in IT security and are experienced in managing and enhancing security measures this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our mission of safeguarding the organizations IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Process Optimization: Improve existing security processes define technical enhancements and implement best practices.
- Security Advisory: Provide technical advice on new products and emerging security technologies.
- System and Network Security: Ensure strong security measures across systems networks AD system hardening vulnerability management XDR proxies and cloud environments.
- Implementation Analysis: Analyze recommend and validate security implementation choices contributing to the organizations security strategy.
- Standard Development: Participate in the creation of technical security standards and documentation.
- Solution Deployment: Contribute to the effective configuration of security solutions and address any existing obstacles in cybersecurity processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- System and Network Security: Expert
- Active Directory: Expert
- System Hardening: Expert
- Vulnerability Management: Expert
- XDR (Extended Detection & Response): Expert
- Proxy Management: Expert
- Cloud Security: Advanced
- Knowledge of ICS systems is a plus.
Languages:
- French or Dutch: Excellent proficiency
- Second Language (French or Dutch): Good proficiency
- English: Good proficiency
Additional Information:
- The mission is renewable with an initial duration of up to 880 working days.
- Location: Cantersteen 1 1000 Brussels with a remote option available.
