Role Overview:
The Marketing and Operations Officer is a critical member of our team responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes. This role involves a unique blend of strategic planning and handson implementation across various functions including marketing operations customer service and logistics. As a Marketing and Operations Officer you will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is an equitybased role until we secure funding.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness customer engagement and sales.
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media email and other channels to reach and engage target audiences.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation and distribution of highquality engaging content for various platforms including blogs newsletters and social media.
- SEO/SEM Management: Optimize website content and manage search engine marketing campaigns to enhance online visibility and drive traffic.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and expand market reach.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines deliverables and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
- Customer Service: Develop and manage customer service processes to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and support.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with suppliers vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize costs.
General Responsibilities:
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales product development and finance to align marketing and operations strategies with overall business objectives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and presentations for the leadership team highlighting key metrics achievements and areas for improvement.
- Innovation and Sustainability: Drive innovation in marketing and operations with a focus on sustainability and customercentricity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing and operations roles preferably within the agritech or agriculture industry.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies tools and platforms.
