Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review civil and structural design drawings for solar installations.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate geological and environmental conditions.
- Analyze structural loads and performance criteria for solar panels and support structures.
- Ensure compliance with local state and national regulations.
- Collaborate with architects electrical engineers and project managers.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Oversee the construction and installation of solar systems.
- Conduct material selection and testing for durability and sustainability.
- Implement quality control measures during project execution.
- Provide insights to improve project designs and workflows.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay uptodate with advancements in solar technology..
- Participate in project bidding and proposal development.
- Ensure all designs meet safety standards and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in civil or structural engineering preferably in renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD STAAD Pro or similar.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced projectdriven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with construction oversight and inspections.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
