Job Title: Business Development Manager (Consumer electronics and meters)
Location: Ikeja Lagos
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of conversions in the Consumer Electronics Telecoms and Meters industries. The successful candidate will drive sales growth in three key areas:
1. Consumer Electronics/Telecoms: B2B B2C and B2G sales
2. Meter Sales: Sales to Distribution Companies (Discos)
3. RLG Training Institute: Activation and sales of training programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in set areas
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities building relationships with key decisionmakers
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective sales support and delivery
- Analyze market trends competition and customer needs to inform sales strategies
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Negotiate and close highvalue deals and strategic partnerships.
- Activate and manage the RLG Training Institute including sales of training programs
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development Sales or Marketing in the Consumer Electronics Telecoms and Meters industries
- A hands on resource with management experience and own network for sales conversion
- Proven track record of sales conversions and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and industry trends
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Marketing etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B B2C and B2G sales
- Knowledge of consumer electronics
- Knowledge of the Discos and meter sales landscape in Nigeria
- Familiarity with training program sales and activation
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
