Responsibilities:
- Oversee Employee Relations (ER) cases including issues related to discipline misconduct performance grievances redundancies and complex absences ensuring they are resolved successfully.
- Independently investigate complex HRrelated concerns utilizing critical thinking to analyze evidence and draw conclusions.
- Provide businesses with advice and guidance on disciplinary actions policy interpretation and employment practices specific to the region.
- Maintain high standards of detailed ER case documentation including investigation reports and issue analysis.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance HR Business Partner (HRBP) and leader effectiveness leading to better ER decisions.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to support positive employee relations practices.
- Establish strong working relationships with employment legal and investigation teams to manage risk and calibrate recommendations for decisionmaking.
- Analyze trends to identify root causes and develop solutions for effective corrective actions.
- Ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to ER case management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 510 years of experience in employee relations.
- Proven experience in partnering with key stakeholders and being an effective team player.
- Strong understanding of Asia Pacific employment law and regulatory frameworks with a full appreciation of rulings related to disciplinary actions and other corrective measures.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in sensitive complex and ambiguous situations.
- Capable of working in a fastpaced and challenging business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior business managers and key internal stakeholders.
