General Function: On top of the standard sales account management & relationship building the SME
Department Head should be able to deliver the budget of SME Loans. Should be able to manage in
standard sales activities such as but not limited to: DSAs/agents & branches presentation orientation
solicitation of loan applications & accreditation renewals .
Monitoring of accredited DSAs turnins approval & booking shall be managed as well. Planning and
strategic sales management shall be observed at all times for the purpose of growing the business
responsibly.
Also it is crucial to develop strategies to be more competitive in the market and keeping a healthy
portfolio. This includes regular review of sales revenue and market share.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure that Sales targets are met on a month on month basis
2. Rework and SLAs are managed and delivered as stipulated for all applications
3. Staff is trained on internal products and processes and are fully aware of the market offer and
are able to handle objections from customers
4. Daily staff meeting ( sales assistants ) and monthly meeting with all related parties credit
product and operations etc. to ensure alignment to internal policies and processes and remove
bottlenecks
5. Responsible for the DSAs and Partners accreditation .
6. Ensures the signing updating and renewal of the Letter Agreement of the Memorandum of
Agreement for all accredited DSAs and Partners.
7. Conduct regular sales calls or client visits on DSAs and Partners active or inactive to grow
business with them and to increase turnin applications. Develop strategic position for the DSAs
and Partners to be competitive in the market.
8. Ensures the compliance of clients/DSAs/agents/Partners to submit all required documents
including the completeness of the loan application of borrowers within the prescribed period.
9. Regular sales meeting to address issues and concerns and sales projections.
10. Ensures the growth and wellbeing of employees through various engagements including
mentoring.
11. Must comply in any audit and compliance task
12. Other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
