The Bookkeeper is responsible for endtoend general accounting tasks and preparing reviewing and analyzing financial reports. The ideal candidate has indepth knowledge of Australian bookkeeping and will be an asset to the accounting team. Duties will include but are not limited to keeping and managing records of financial transactions for group companies and general clerical with projectbased work.
- Responsible for preparing BAS IAS bookkeeping procedures and general administrative/ad hoc tasks.
- Deliver operating efficiencies through Xero Tax Xero XPM MYOB BGL 360 and other relevant accounting software systems.
- Perform regular detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents expenditures and investments that are being worked on.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations.
- Perform detailed orders
- Managing account receivables and preparation of invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or any relevant field.
- At least 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper preferably in an Australian environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software and other business software systems such as Xero and MYOB and other relevant accounting software systems.
- Working knowledge in GST BAS IAS etc.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and accounting principles.
- Has a proactive approach to business and technology.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.
