Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Handling matters from intake to pretrial posture within NJ State Courts
- Litigating within NJ State Court
- Handling wrongful termination and discrimination claims on behalf of employees
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Motion practice
- Preparation of pleadings
- Client contact
Experience you will need:
- At least 1 year of Plaintiffs side civil litigation experience within NJ
- Experience in handling matters from intake to pretrial posture within NJ State Courts
- Experience in litigating within NJ State Court
- Experience with taking and defending depositions
- Experience in drafting and responding to discovery
- Experience in motion practice
- Experience in preparation of pleadings
- Experience in client contact
- Admitted to NJ BAR
- Admission to NY Bar is a plus
- Any additional bar admission is a plus
