About the Role:
Were seeking an experienced General Liability ociate Attorney to join the hive on behalf of one of our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for attorneys with litigation experience to grow their careers by taking on substantive defense litigation responsibilities. In this role youll manage a general liability caseload from start to finish while collaborating with other attorneys and partners. If youre a highly motivated professional with defense litigation experience we want to meet you!
Your Mission:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload handling cases from beginning to end.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on various legal projects.
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular updates and status reports.
Core Competencies:
- 2 years of defense litigation experience with a focus on general liability defense matters.
- Strong litigation ss including legal writing depositions and courtroom experience.
- Superior written and oral communication ss.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
What You Bring:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience.
- Experience handling general liability defense matters and/or professional liability cases.
- Legal project management experience is helpful but not required.
Ss Required:
- Litigation Case Management: Handling cases from start to finish.
- Client Communication: Providing updates and status reports to clients.
- Courtroom Experience: Managing depositions and court appearances.
- Defense Litigation Expertise: General liability and/or professional liability cases.
Certifications:
- Must be admitted to practice law in the State of California.
Education:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license required.
