- Evaluate creditor claims and assess risks.
- Promptly review claims upon receipt.
- Prepare complaints for state court filings draft motions for judgment and other necessary motions.
- Efficiently manage caseloads and collaborate with staff.
- Negotiate and review settlements.
- Implement enforcement strategies.
- Advise clients on options and remedies.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree.
- Admission to the State Bar in MD and VA and should have handson experience in collections foreclosure and bankruptcy.
- 2 to 8 years of experience in legal practice particularly in consumer collections and creditor’s rights.
- Ability to manage a high volume of files.
- Strong research skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
