Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: NDIS Admin with Calls
Hours: 40 per week
Rate: 67AUD/hour

The Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining daily operational tasks within the business. This role requires excellent organizational communication and multitasking skills along with a comprehensive understanding of modern business practices and the NDIS sector

Responsibilities:
  • Organise and develop the onboarding process for new participants.
  • Assist in the NDIS audit process.
  • Handle phone calls and emails to the organisation.
  • Manage service bookings and claims through the NDIS portal.
  • Develop reports using provided templates including progress notes and review reports.
  • Manage rostering as required or as the business grows.
  • Provide basic training to new staff.
  • Engage actively with participants and their families organising meetings as needed.
  • Post job advertisements and conduct interviews as necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling preparing presentations organising meetings taking notes and summarising documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up with clients regarding their satisfaction with current support workers.
  • Organise and maintain files and documents.
  • Prepare communications such as memos emails invoices reports and other correspondence.
  • Develop Service Agreements and Schedules of Supports
  • Ensure the accuracy and currency of database information.
  • Manage and monitor social media campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook Twitter and Instagram. Respond to inquiries and interact with followers

Requirements:
  • Background in NDIS and similar industry is a must
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Great attention to details
  • Experience in using Brevity and Shiftcare or similar software
  • Knowledge of the NDIS industry
  • Compliance background
