  Job Opening at Legal Manager Governance Group

  We are seeking a Legal Manager to oversee all legal and governance activities within the Governance Group at the company.

  Additionally to maximize synergy with our group companies we actively exchange information and provide support. In this position we anticipate your involvement in supporting legal and governance activities and assisting in the establishment and operation of governance structures within group companies.

  Responsibilities:

  You will execute or manage the following tasks:

  • Review drafting examination and management of contracts
  • Examination of business schemes for existing/new businesses and creation of regulations etc.
  • Handling various legal consultations
  • Analysis of legal risks in business operations and consideration of countermeasures
  • Intellectual property management (mainly management of job inventions patent/trademark application support)
  • Personal informationrelated tasks
  • Knowledge management (creation and dissemination of internal guidelines/manuals digital transformation of business flows etc.)
  • Planning and implementation of compliance training for internal staff
  • Operation and management of compliance committees risk management
  • Operations related to shareholders meetings share management
  • Various notifications to administrative authorities
  • Operation and management of board of directors audit committees nomination and compensation committees
  • Creation of governancerelated disclosure documents
  • Internal control (JSOX) internal audit activities
  • Establishment and operation of group governance structures

Conditions / Benefits

Employment type: Full time

Location: Shiba Minatoku Tokyo

Annual Salary:JPY

• Based on experience ability and previous work experience
• Bonus paid twice a year (August February)
• A fixed overtime allowance equivalent to 20 hours is provided regardless of the presence of overtime work.
  • Additional overtime pay is provided for hours worked beyond the initial 20 hours.

Hours:

(In the case of discretionary labor system) No fixed working hours (presumed working hours: 9 hours) (In the case of flextime system) 10:00 19:00 (prescribed working hours: 8 hours)

• Break time: 60 minutes
• Telecommuting and flexible work arrangements are available subject to prior approval.
• Annual Holidays: Regular days off every week (Saturdays and Sundays) national holidays and other days designated by the company.
• Paid Time Off: 10 days granted after 6 months of continuous service (increasing with years of service up to a maximum of 23 days).
• Other Leaves: Special leave upon joining yearend and New Year leave special leave for illness and bereavement leave are available.
