    We are looking for a Product Manager to oversee the various feature developments and new product initiatives for our product. The product is a smartphone payment platform designed to quickly enable businesses to build their Original Pay. It provides core functions of payment systems such as codebased transactions transaction processing balance management user authentication as well as additional features like point issuance and value charging through APIs.

    As a Product Manager your mission is to maximize the value of the product. You will be responsible for determining specifications for feature planning and development in response to business requirements and user feedback overseeing project management through to release. In a leadership role for product planning and development projects you will collaborate with various team members including designers engineers and business executives to conduct product management activities.

    Wallet Station is still a developing product with multiple feature developments and performance improvements happening simultaneously. We are seeking someone who can quickly decide on the direction and requirements of the product and drive development forward.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Planning requirement definition specification creation and estimation for new features/improvements for Wallet Station and other inhouse products.
    • Proposing and driving improvements to business operations.
    • Overall progress management and facilitation of development projects.
    • Negotiation with client and partner companies.
    • Document creation for proposals and specifications related to services.
    • Review of basic design to detailed design in system development acceptance testing.
    • Project budget management risk management and team motivation.

Minimum Requirements

    • Project management experience in open systems development web systems and mobile app development.
    • Experience in requirement definition and requirement specification in system development.
    • Experience in negotiation with stakeholders including clients.

Preferred Requirements

    • Experience as a Product Manager involved in the planning and decisionmaking processes for product strategies.
    • Extensive experience in system development for SaaS web applications and missioncritical systems.
    • Holder of project management certifications such as PMP and Project Manager Examination by the Informationtechnology Promotion Agency (IPA).
    • Experience in managing engineering team members and partner companies.
    • Background in engineering with experience in development tasks as an engineer.

Location: Kojimachi Chiyodaku Tokyo

  • Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line Kojimachi Station (Exit 2)
  • Approximately 8 minutes on foot from JR Yotsuya Station

Annual Salary:JPY *based on experience ability and previous work experience

  • Salary adjustments: Twice a year
  • Bonuses: Twice a year (April and October)
  • Overtime allowances for exceeding regular working hours are provided (subject to position/grade).

Hours: 9:30 18:30 (60 minutes of break time)

  • Depending on the position/grade it will fall under flextime specialist discretionary labor system or management and supervisory discretionary labor system.
  • The abovementioned hours are the standard and employee determinations may vary.
  • Overtime work beyond regular hours is expected.
  • The flextime system does not have a core time.
  • Saturdays Sundays and national holidays
  • Annual paid leave (provided according to company regulations from the first day of employment)
