Job Overview and Responsibilities

Overview:We are looking for a diligent and experienced Corporate Paralegal with expertise in Company Law. The ideal candidate will ensure our organizations compliance with AntiMoney Laundering (AML) Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and assist in Corporate Secretarial Practice. This role demands meticulous attention to detail strong regulatory knowledge and effective communication skills.

We will provide training and guidance on AML/CFT and KYC compliance requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive corporate secretarial support including maintaining corporate records drafting board resolutions and managing regulatory filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate governance regulatory compliance and AML/CFT/KYC requirements.
• Assist in developing implementing and enforcing AML/CFT and KYC policies procedures and controls.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on clients customers and counterparties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial crime risks.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious activities transactions and behaviors in accordance with AML/CFT regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports (SARs) to relevant regulatory authorities as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal compliance and risk management teams to address compliance issues and implement remedial actions.
• Stay updated on changes in laws regulations and industry best practices related to corporate governance AML/CFT and KYC.
