Job Description

Our client is a leading bank in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of foreign direct investment clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their financial needs and inquiries.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their business objectives and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FDI segment (Chinese or Korean or Japanese)
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new foreign corporate clients and expand the existing client base.Collaborate with internal teams to crosssell products and services including treasury trade finance and investment banking.
  • Provide clients with expert advice on a wide range of financial products and services.
  • Develop customized financial solutions to meet the specific needs of foreign direct investors.
  • Stay informed about market trends regulatory changes and economic developments to offer proactive advice.
  • Assess and manage the credit risk associated with the clients portfolio.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals ensuring compliance with the bank s risk policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the financial performance of clients and take necessary actions to mitigate potential risks.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (AntiMoney Laundering) regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth and timely execution of transactions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the FDI sector.
  • Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the FDI market and client portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product teams risk management and operations to deliver integrated financial solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as legal advisors consultants and industry associations.
  • Mentor and guide junior relationship managers and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture within the team.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional knowledge and skills.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA MBA) is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in relationship management corporate banking or financial services with a focus on foreign direct investment clients.
  • Indepth knowledge of financial products and services credit risk assessment and the FDI landscape.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and credit evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in banking software and MS Office applications.
