Opportunity

The Snr QA Engineer will lead in the handson test creation and automated execution analysis and reporting of testing activities for different layers of the application; creation or improvement of internal tools and test frameworks. The role will develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that the application meets business functional and nonfunctional requirements with maintaining the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to handson test creation and automated execution analysis and reporting of testing activities and test result for different layers of the application; creation or improvement of internal tools and test frameworks.

• Work with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans to ensure that the application meets business functional and nonfunctional requirements and maintain highest quality standards.
• Analyze product requirements and specifications
• Ensure that testing activities are conducted in accordance to the testing strategy and plan
• Implement and contribute to automation test strategies
• Create test data write and execute test cases/scripts. Analyses test results document issues and

  retest corrections to ensure that problems are resolved

• Ensure the timely reporting and classification of defects
• Work effectively in a development environment that utilizes Agile methodologies Scrum/Kanban
• Lead and mentor QA team members as required
• Demonstrate a commitment to learn grow and take on greater levels of responsibility and

  accountability

• Attend team and project meetings as required and submit reports as needed
• Use written and verbal communication skills in English as required to complete job tasks

  Job Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
  • 5 years of handson experience leading a team for test automation of mobile and web

    applications.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Strong analytical problem solving & root cause analysis skills
  • Handon experience with the industry standard test tools and testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium

    Appium Cypress Playwright).

  • Knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• API testing
• JavaScript frameworks exposure
• Load & Performance automation
• End to End testing
• Agile/SCRUM

• System integration testing experience
• Strong procedural and OOP programming skills
• Solid knowledge on Java JavaScript
• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle.
• Experience with planning and executing testing across all layers.
• Strong knowledge of testing processes and defect tracking
• Proven ability to effectively interact with development teams to help implement optimized and

  reusable functional test automation

• Proactively initiate develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and provide technical expertise support for individual contributors as needed.
• A desire to learn grow and enjoy the responsibility and accountability that comes with high levels of ownership and autonomy
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in a startup working environment is a plus
