Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the Velocitais goals and objectives focusing on sustainable growth within the IT services sector.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities cultivate partnerships and negotiate contracts to expand our market share and revenue.
- Market Analysis: Conduct indepth market research to understand industry trends customer needs and competitor strategies adjusting our approach accordingly to maintain competitive edge.
- Team Management and Development: Lead mentor and expand the sales team fostering an environment of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships understanding client needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs.
- Sales Targets: Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets track performance and implement corrective measures to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress forecasts and strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in business administration Sales Marketing IT or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in sales with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the IT services sector.
- A proven history of driving growth within an IT services environment backed by a robust understanding of the industry landscape both in India and internationally.
- An expansive network and a reputation for turning strategic connections into profitable partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive environment.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving sales goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
