Business Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Embrace and uphold the company culture while adhering to sales regulations and requirements.
• Provide support to solution providers and system integrators to enhance their vision competence and product knowledge.
• Foster close collaboration with partners and customers to establish the firm as their preferred vision supplier.
• Collaborate with customers and the firms vision engineers to solve complex applications effectively.
• Demonstrate willingness to travel and a strong commitment to business development and sales generation.
• Assess and prioritize incoming vision application requests from sales teams ensuring proper documentation of project progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve collective goals.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as delegated by superiors.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher preferably in image processing software development or electrical engineering with a background in industrial automation or related fields.
• Strong understanding of factory automation and experience in solving machine vision applications.
• Basic programming skills (e.g. C# C) are desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in factory automation and machine vision.
• Previous experience in sales or roles involving frequent customer interactions.
• Efficient project coordination skills are essential and project management skills are advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel with good command of MS Word PowerPoint and Windows.
• PMP Certification is considered a bonus.
