Job Description

Overview

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient management and operations of the property. They assist the Property Manager in various tasks including property maintenance tenant relations financial management and administrative functions. This position is essential for ensuring that properties are wellmaintained tenants are satisfied and financial goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daytoday operations of the property
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and maintenance staff
  • Communicate with tenants and address their concerns or requests
  • Assist with lease administration including lease renewals new leases and rent collection
  • Support the Property Manager in financial reporting and budgeting
  • Participate in regular property inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Help to develop and implement property marketing strategies
  • Assist in the procurement and management of property supplies and equipment
  • Support the Property Manager in risk management and emergency response planning
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of positive tenant relations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Real Estate Business Administration or related field
  • 2 years of experience in property management or real estate
  • Strong understanding of property management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and perform basic financial calculations
  • Knowledge of local real estate regulations and leasing laws
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
