Summary
We are seeking a Front Office Executive to serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors at our medical facility. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for all individuals and facilitating efficient front office operations. Your duties will involve managing appointments addressing patient inquiries maintaining medical records and promoting effective communication among patients medical staff and administrative personnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist patients and visitors with professionalism
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and followup to optimize medical staff productivity
- Handle incoming calls and messages promptly directing them to the appropriate parties
- Preserve the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records
- Respond to patient inquiries offering information on services appointments and general questions
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow and service provision
- Accurately process billing and insurance details
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area
- Support administrative tasks including data entry filing and inventory management
- Comply with all regulatory and compliance standards governing front office procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience as a front office executive or similar position preferably in a medical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare operations
- Proficiency in utilizing healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients staff and visitors
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities within a dynamic environment
- Keen attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to patient data confidentiality
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in demanding situations
- Understanding of medical billing and insurance processes
- Willingness to uphold all regulatory and compliance requisites in a healthcare setting
