Job Description
- Review protection system design for all types of voltage levels, including but limited to: protection and metering drawings, schematic and logic drawings, and instrument transformer sizing.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil and Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.) and preferably also Saudi Aramco standards and working practices
- Experience in leading and guiding technical employees needed.
- Review company standards and be familiar with international standards.
- Run settings calculations for power system equipment such as generators, long OHL/cables, transformers, motors, etc.
- Run Arc Flash studies with complete evaluation for new and existing facilities.
- Run power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, and motor starting.
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience performing detailed power system engineering studies including short circuit, load flow, transient motor start, protection relay coordination, arc flash, etc., and establish appropriate protective device settings
