Roles and responsibilities
The candidate will work closely with independent certification bodies, suppliers, and project teams to ensure all projects meet industry standards for safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to address certification-related challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance certification methodologies and processes.
- Purchasing Support: Assist with processing purchase orders and managing requirements for materials, equipment, and tooling, including issue resolution and logistics support.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel 20-30% of the time.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of the latest offshore wind regulations and develop strategies for full compliance with industry standards.
- Certification Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with independent certification bodies, suppliers, and project teams. Facilitate audits and ensure timely completion of all certifications.
- Standards Adherence: Interpret and apply relevant industry standards to project requirements while developing internal processes to align with certification needs.
- Schedule and Cost Management: Monitor project timelines and budgets, implementing corrective measures as necessary to ensure adherence.
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to certification processes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation Management: Oversee the organization of certification documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Desired candidate profile
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Experience in certification processes is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience in the wind energy sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Aconex and SAP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with certification bodies, product providers/suppliers, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management and mitigation.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation management skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality and compliance
