The Medicine Program is seeking highly qualified faculty members specializing in Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in teaching and clinical practice a robust research portfolio with publications in reputable journals and active involvement in academic advising curriculum development and community engagement. The faculty member will also contribute to administrative duties and faculty development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality lectures clinical teaching and practical training in Internal Medicine.
- Supervise and mentor medical students interns and residents.
- Conduct and publish highimpact research in the field of Internal Medicine.
- Participate in academic advising and student mentorship.
- Develop and enhance curricula assessment methods and clinical training programs.
- Engage in community service and professional outreach initiatives.
- Contribute to faculty development programs and interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Perform administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Program.
Requirements
Education:
- MD or MBBS degree with specialization in Internal Medicine from a recognized university.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine.
- Additional training or certification in Medical Education or Clinical Research is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
- Strong clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
- Proven track record in research and scholarly publications.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative and leadership responsibilities.
