Deal Desk Analyst

In this role you will work closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders to structure profitable and compliant transactions that align with both our companys revenue objectives and customer needs. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating deal closures managing deal approvals and ensuring adherence to compliance and policy standards.
What Youll Do:
- Deal Structuring: Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and structure transactions that meet company requirements and deliver value to customers.
- Approval Management: Act as the first line of approval in the deal process maintaining a fiduciary approach to ensure compliance and profitability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Draft and certify customer contracts communicate deal value through documented business cases and engage with crossfunctional teams including Legal Sales Operations Finance Revenue Assurance and more.
- Process Management: Oversee the daytoday deal approval process ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare inquarter deal status updates and communicate effectively with management.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
What Youll Bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Sales Finance Sales Operations or Deal Desk roles.
- Expertise in drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements.
- Strong understanding of software revenue recognition accounting including SOP 972 and related standards.
- Experience with multielement contracts including subscriptions licenses services and support.
