Job Description
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations treatment plans and student progress.
- Recommend assistive tools and environmental modifications to improve student engagement.
- Deliver specialized therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills sensory processing and functional development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and families providing expertise during IEP meetings and strategy planning.
- Perform indepth assessments of students motor sensory and cognitive abilities to design tailored intervention plans.
Requirements
- State certification with an OT endorsement.
- Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
- Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy ideally working with children of diverse abilities.
