Job Description
- Continuously evaluate student progress and adapt instruction to meet evolving IEP objectives.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align services and goals.
- Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in both oneonone and group settings for children aged 35.
- Establish a safe structured and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and independence.
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of early childhood students.
- Partner closely with families paraprofessionals therapists and other educators to foster student growth and success.
- Incorporate playbased learning and evidencebased practices to support children s social emotional cognitive and physical development.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Illinois teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
- A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline is required.
- Previous experience supporting children with disabilities in a preschool environment is highly desirable.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and teamwork abilities to engage collaboratively with families and colleagues.
- Demonstrate expertise in early childhood development and implementing effective behavior management techniques.
