Job Description

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a fulltime Special Education Teacher to work within our Supported Education program. In this position you will provide specialized instruction helping students excel in a challenging general education curriculum. Our program supports students through various service models including coteaching alongside general education teachers in an inclusive setting.

We are looking for a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to manage a selfcontained classroom for students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will offer individualized instruction develop tailored education plans and maintain a structured supportive classroom environment that encourages students academic social and emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver classroom instruction.
Create and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Regularly assess and track student progress toward IEP goals.
Apply positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) for classroom management.
Modify the general curriculum to meet the unique needs of students.
Teach core subjects such as literacy math and life skills using specialized strategies to enhance student learning.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Illinois LBS1 K12 Certification and a Bachelors Degree in Special Education or a related field. A proven track record as a Special Education Teacher or in a relevant role is required along with experience working with children who have a diverse range of disabilities.
