Job Description
- Establishing a classroom environment that is safe welcoming and promotes active engagement.
- Adapting and delivering lesson plans to align with each student s specific learning objectives.
- Providing instruction in core academic areas as well as fostering development in social and practical life skills.
- Maintaining positive classroom behavior through the use of proactive support strategies.
- Building strong communication channels with parents and caregivers to share progress and goals.
- Continuously tracking student growth maintaining detailed records and refining instructional techniques to enhance outcomes.
Requirements
- Texas LBS1 K12 Certification required.
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related degree.
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
