Job Description

As a Payroll Delivery Partner APAC & EMEA within our Payroll Team you will be responsible for transitioning managing and optimizing payroll processes across multiple countries & region where the organization operates. You will ensure compliance with local payroll regulations coordinate payroll activities and implement standardized Payroll practices to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy.

You will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements related to employee Payments and labor processes with special focus in India. You will be responsible for managing Payroll providing guidance and ensuring that our HR practices align with local laws and best practices.

The measures of success will be consolidation automation & centralization of Payroll across APAC & EMEA Regions zero instances of legal noncompliance Implementation of corrective actions of identifying high risk areas Accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations Management:

  • Oversee daytoday payroll operations including processing reconciliation and reporting.
  • Monitor payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with local payroll providers or vendors to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Standardize payroll processes and procedures across different countries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Align with the organizations objectives and compliance requirements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Stay updated with regional payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Mitigate payrollrelated risks by implementing controls and audits.

Systems Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead gap analysis for payroll system implementations & identify upgrades opportunities across region.
  • Integrate payroll systems with other HR and finance systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

 Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR Finance Legal and IT departments to align payroll practices with overall business goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional payroll teams or HR managers on payrollrelated matters.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with global payroll service providers ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and costeffectiveness.

Audit and Reporting:

    • Conduct periodic internal audits to assess compliance levels and prepare reports for management. Implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Manage the accurate and timely filing of statutory returns and reports including EPF ESI payment of bonus act. Manage PF and labour officer visits at our locations ensuring all registers and displays are maintained as per regulations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in human resources Commerce Law Business Administration or related field. Masters degree or certifications in labor laws or HR compliance preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Payroll automation/APAC Payroll HR compliance and statutory compliance roles in India. Exposure & understanding of EMEA Countries.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and compliance management tools.
  • Familiarity with Indian payroll processing HRIS systems and employee file management.


Additional Information :

  • Indepth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Exposure to Payroll processing for multiple Countries in APAC/ EMEA Region.
  • Experience in stakeholder management & vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
