Job Description

Summary:
The BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Operations Transition Head is responsible for leading and managing the seamless transition of business processes from clients to the BPO service provider. This role requires strong project management skills a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transition Planning and Execution
Develop comprehensive transition plans including timelines resource allocation risk management and communication strategies.
Lead and manage transition projects ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
2. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the transition phase.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients vendors and internal teams.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management and clients.
3. Process Analysis and Optimization
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop process documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Ensure that transitioned processes align with best practices and compliance requirements.
4. Team Leadership and Development
Lead and mentor the transition team providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Foster a collaborative and highperformance team culture.
Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for team members.
5. Risk Management and Problem Solving
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the transition process.
Implement contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor and track the progress of transition projects against established KPIs and milestones.
Prepare and present detailed reports on project status outcomes and lessons learned.
Ensure that all transition activities are documented and archived for future reference.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in business administration Operations Management or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 18 years of experience in BPO operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing transitions.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in process analysis and improvement methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and compliance standards.
