Our client is a wellestablished Recycling Company in Nigeria specializing in transforming waste tyres into ecofriendly reusable materials like rubber mats tiles and molded products for various applications (homes offices playgrounds gyms). They are currently expanding with a 3600 Tonne per annum rubber recycling facility in Apata Ibadan sourcing raw materials from partners in Lagos.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and resultsdriven Sales Manager (Female Preferred) to lead the sales initiatives of our clients company. The Sales Manager will develop and execute effective sales strategies manage a dynamic sales team and achieve key revenue targets. The role requires a strategic leader with strong analytical skills excellent interpersonal abilities and a commitment to fostering client relationships optimizing sales processes and leading a highperforming team to exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed company revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends customer behavior and competitor activities to discover new opportunities.
- Create detailed sales plans that include resource allocation sales channels and promotional activities.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead motivate and inspire a diverse sales team to achieve corporate objectives.
- Provide regular training to enhance skills product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Set clear individual and team performance goals holding the team accountable through performance reviews.
Market Analysis and Customer Relationship Management:
- Conduct indepth market research to understand customer needs and identify growth areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Use CRM tools to track interactions and improve customer service.
Reporting and Budget Management:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts reports and performance analyses for management review.
- Manage the departments budget to ensure costeffectiveness and maximize return on investment.
- Monitor expenses and recommend strategies for financial optimization.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and enhance sales processes to improve conversion rates and customer experiences.
- Standardize procedures and implement best practices to streamline sales operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and remove operational bottlenecks.
Target Achievement and Performance Monitoring:
- Set and communicate clear sales targets aligned with the companys goals.
- Monitor team performance implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Recognize and reward highperforming team members to foster motivation and success.
Requirements:
- Education: HND/B.Sc. in Communications Marketing Business Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in a senior sales position (Regional Sales Manager Area Sales Manager or similar).
- Sales Experience: Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to influence present and communicate at all organizational levels.
- Sales Process Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process from planning to closing.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong business acumen with expertise in the industry.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in mentoring and managing highperformance teams.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing KPIs ROI and other performance metrics.
- ProblemSolving: Excellent skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Reporting:
The Sales Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) providing regular updates on sales performance team progress and market insights.
