Job Description
THIS IS ON CALL BASIS JOB
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment aboard rigs and marine vessels.
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair mechanical malfunctions ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address and resolve mechanical challenges effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities repairs and equipment logs.
- Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations while performing all tasks.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Rig Mechanic or practical experience on mechanical equipment in the marine environment.
- Extensive experience in NOV equipment or equivalent minimum 23 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Degree/ Diploma/ Cert/ Tertiary Education in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- For MalaysiannonSarawakian holding valid work permit is preferrable.
