Job Description
THIS IS ON CALL BASIS
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electrical systems onboard rigs or marine vessels.
- Inspect test and certify hazardous area equipment in compliance with IECand IECstandards.
- Ensure all electronic systems are operating efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
- Provide technical support for electrical systems including sensors communication devices and control systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address system inefficiencies or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections repairs and certifications.
Requirement
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Rig Electronic Technician or practical experience with electrical systems in the Marine environment.
- Degree/ Diploma/ Cert/ Tertiary Education in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- MUST have Hazardous Area equipment certification IECand IEC(eg: CompEX).
- For MalaysiannonSarawakian holding a valid work permit is preferable.
