Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering and proven project management skills to lead complex engineering projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing developing and delivering innovative solutions while managing crossfunctional teams timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Engineering

• Work with ODM partners to design new products components and subsystems that meet the product requirements
• Collaborate with ODMs to perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations to ensure performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies FEA analysis risk assessments and failure analysis to optimize designs.
• Provide Technical Leadership and drive the team to make design decisions that meet Cost Schedule and Performance requirements.
• Review and approve technical drawings specifications and documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes standards and regulations.

2. Project Management

• Lead projects through all phases including planning execution monitoring and closing.
• Collaborate with ODMs on projects deliverables and come up with Risk mitigation plan to avoid project scope schedule and cost creep
• Coordinate and manage crossfunctional teams including engineers contractors and vendors.
• Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders including reports and presentations.

3. Collaboration and Leadership

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives promoting innovation and efficiency within the team.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years in a project management role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools (e.g. ANSYS MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent problemsolving skills attention to detail and decisionmaking capabilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successful team collaboration.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• knowledge of Chinese will be considered an advantage
