Job Description
We are a worldleading smart mobility SaaS company with oversubscribers across 23 countries and we are looking for a Senior Executive Group Reporting to join our team. Responsibilities
This role provides comprehensive support to the Group Reporting team in all aspects of group financial reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with special projects driving process improvements and preparing materials for Board meetings.
Financial Consolidation:
Support the monthly quarterly and annual closing processes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Prepare and support the monthly quarterly and annual financial consolidation process.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Support the standardization and optimization of processes to eliminate inefficiencies adding value across the entire finance function.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and support the consolidated financial reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
Financial Reporting Compliance and Standards:
Ensure adherence with the Local and International accounting policies and procedures.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy.
Financial Analysis and Support:
Provide financial analysis to support managements decisionmaking and strategic planning.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support adhoc financial projects and initiatives.
Audit and External Reporting:
Assist in the coordination of the annual audit process liaising with external auditors to provide requested documentation and address audit queries.
Ensure all necessary audit schedules and reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders ensuring transparency and clarity in all financial reporting matters.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting preferably in a group or multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP consolidation principles financial reporting software analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Good knowledge in MS Office is essential. Exposure to major ERP systems or Tagetik would be an added advantage.
Detailoriented processdriven meticulous with a proactive approach and a strong commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
