Job Description
Company Background:
Our client is a worldwide top 50 Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company delivering improved flexibility cost efficiency and innovation power through the value chain. Their HQ is located at Norway and have a strong local presence in all regions such as Norway Sweden Denmark Lithuania Germany Poland the Czech Republic India China Malaysia and the United States. In each of these regions they tailor their offering to suit the local needs best.
Requirements:
- Perform functional stress and performance testing on electronic assemblies produced by SMT machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects in SMTassembled boards and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate set up and maintain SMT machines ensuring they are functioning properly for accurate testing.
- Document test results issues and corrective actions taken and prepare detailed test reports.
- Diagnose and resolve test failures working closely with the engineering team & production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and SMT machine operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SMT machine operations and testing within an EMS Industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic components PCB PCBA SMT and circuit board testing techniques.
- Experience with testing tools and equipment (oscilloscopes multimeters etc.).
- Knowledge of quality control standards and troubleshooting procedures.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English in order to have a smooth conversation with colleagues and clients.
