Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant in a friendly and professional manner
Assist in setting up and maintaining the dining area including tables chairs linens and tableware
Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure all guests needs are met and any special requests are accommodated
Answer any questions about menu items and make recommendations when necessary
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
Maintain a clean and organized dining area including clearing and resetting tables
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic dining experience for guests
Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Attend all required training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager or other supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic math and computer skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Fluent in English additional languages are a plus
