As we continue to grow we are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to join our growing Finance Department in Zagreb. Accounting assistants job description includes bookkeeping and archiving but also providing needed administrative support to the Finance Department.
The Accounting Assistant role is a varied one covering various accounting responsibilities:
- processing and recording incoming invoices by fact checking and determining cost centers and projects
- communication with vendors (providing information regarding invoice payments resolving issues that require invoice adjustments/credit notes)
- ensuring approvals of invoices
- archiving invoices and proofs of payment
- working effectively with other finance team members
Qualifications :
- Accounting Economics Finance or equivalent field of study
- desirable previous accounting experience
- strong English written and oral communication skills (at least B2)
- willingness to learn and work under fixed working schedule with deadlines
- desirable previous knowledge and use of MS Office
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- strong focus on details and correct accounting entries
