Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

The Relationship Manager Medical Providers will be responsible for developing and maintaining deep sustainable relationships with hospital facilities medical clinics and medical or allied health practitioners to assist in the fast and safe exchange of medical information.

This will be achieved through implementing a relationshipbased account management strategy and balancing an understanding of the headwinds faced by healthcare providers with our customer needs to optimise service delivery and achieve a consistent & timely response to requests for information by provider and facility.  Additionally the Relationship Manager Provider will lead UHGs relationships with key aligned stakeholder groups including but not limited to practice manager networks medical practitioner member organisations and medical practice software specialists.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing UHGs Provider Relationship strategy
  • Meet with and build and sustain relationships with healthcare providers medical provider clinics and hospitals assisting in delivering better outcomes for UHGs customers and their clients.
  • Grow external stakeholder relationships with GP practice management software companies and advocacy groups such as the RACGP and AMA.
  • Meet with UHGs key customers to share industry insights trends opportunities for continuous improvement and reporting on key performance (SLAs & provider cycle times/costs) metrics.
  • Represent UHG at appropriate customer and industry related events / forums.
  • Lead UHGs Provider Education initiatives
  • Commit to continuous innovation in how we deliver our goals and partner with medical practitioners and our customers.

Qualifications :

What You Should Have

  • Understanding of how Primary Healthcare works in General Practices &/or similar
  • Proven ability to build relationships with healthcare providers towards optimising outcomes (GPs Specialists Hospitals)
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Medical Nursing or Allied Health background desired but not essential
