The Lead Analyst is responsible for providing communication between the company and employees that are under their supervision. The lead analyst coordinates activities and schedules work as necessary as well as prepare the necessary reports and required audits. The Lead Analyst will be accountable for the overall safety of the work environment for the crew including ensuring compliance with Allied client OSHA and all other applicable standards. Performs and oversees specific projects and programs as assigned. The Lead Analyst is also expected to be a technical resource to the client and employees in the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for communication and education between the company clients and direct reports.
Responsible for communicating the Allied Reliability deliverables to the client and to the employees under direct supervision.
Ability to conduct Technology Awareness Sessions.
Ability to submit documented case studies for customer/employee newsletters.
Provide significant input into the development of the Individual Training Plans for each employee under direct supervision
Assumes coordination and scheduling activities as required in the following areas:
Management of the Master Technology Schedule for the assigned site(s).
Responsible for schedule compliance and route adherence.
Single point of customer contact on specific technology related issues
Assumes responsibility for necessary auditing metrics and reporting including but not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring all databases in compliance with current standards.
Responsible for managing all database changes.
Responsible for Nuisance Alarm Management.
Responsible for Management of Change Process Adherence.
Responsible for the accuracy and the timeliness of all internal and external communications and reporting.
Assumes responsibility for the overall safety of the work environment for the crew.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Allied Reliability client OSHA and other applicable standards.
Performs Behavioral Safety Observations as needed.
Assumes responsibility for ensuring that the Allied Reliability Best Practice Methods are communicated.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Ensures that work area is clean secure and well maintained.
Training/Mentoring A few of the activities in the area of Training/Mentoring will include but are not limited to:
Assumes responsibility for training/mentoring of the crew
Able to convey obtained knowledge from seminar/training sessions to crew
Able and willing to work in an oncall situations and off shifts as required by customers or management.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
Technical reports are accurate neat and promptly completed.
Inquiries are courteously attended to. Good business relations exist with customers and outside professionals.
A professional image is projected and maintained.
Databases are correct to current standards and audit schedules are being adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent. College Degree preferred.
ASNTTC1A or ASNTCP189 Certifications or equivalent where applicable. Lead Analyst should possess or have the ability to obtain an ASNT Level 2 or ISO Category 3 Certification in their core technology with Level 1 Certification in 2 other technologies. Lead Analyst should have experience and knowledge of Reliability principles and be able to demonstrate through taking certifications tests such as: CMRP Six Sigma etc.
REQUIREDKNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of machinery fundamentals including pumps motors gearboxes blowers compressors etc. Detailed knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals such as fits and tolerances. Working knowledge of routine and advanced data acquisition techniques.
Knowledge in spectral time waveform and phase analysis. Working knowledge of other condition monitoring technologies including oil analysis thermography motor current analysis and ultrasonics and their integration.
EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
Four or more years of directly related experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Good communication skills both oral and written.
Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Windows Word and Excel.
Solid analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Able to work well independently.
