Job Description:

The Head of DevOps is a critical positioning that supports the technical and product teams to ensure high quality to spec and on time delivery of sprints within the organization. This individual will act as the glue between cross functional departments and support the technical team with key processes documentation stakeholder engagement and overall ways of working internally. They will have a high impact on the organization and the key objectives the company has set out for themselves in the coming years.

Your daily adventures include:

  • Collaborate with the CTO Head of Projects and technical team to manage tasks prioritize work and implement regular checkins and operational processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes systems and workflows to ensure organizational clarity and alignment
  • Engage with heads of business units and the Head of Projects to align on timelines blockers and challenges ensuring smooth execution of tasks and projects
  • Serve as the primary point of communication for crossfunctional alignment translating business objectives into actionable workflows for the technical team
  • Support technical teams by managing internal tickets and projects ensuring timely resolution and efficient workflow
  • Provide technical support to clientfacing teams ensuring clear communication and resolution of technical issues
  • Assist in the implementation of best practices across the organization fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve communication between technical and business units


Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of experience in dev operations technology management or operations
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts tools and workflows including CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloudbased architectures
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and handson experience with project management tools such as JIRA Trello or Notion
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and DevOps tools is preferred
  • Proactive and collaborative problemsolver with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical workflows and priorities
  • Proven project management or technical coordination experience with a history of delivering complex projects successfully
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills capable of effectively engaging both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Experience in the FinTech or credit space working with technical teams


What it takes to succeed: Experience in B2B selling of a tech service or SaaS product into the large business market. A prospective solid network of potential clients as well as reselling partners Experience in rapidly structuring and scaling a sales organisation in multiple locations, scale-up/start-up experience, would be advantageous Demonstrated Sales management experience, including hiring, developing and driving accountability. Proven ability to manage sales teams from different cultures in diverse countries. Experience with fast-paced scale-up environments thrives on the challenge of getting things done quickly and delivering results.
