Job Title: HEAD OF LEGAL
Reports to: GCEO
Job Overview:
As a Legal Manager your primary role is to oversee legal compliance and provide strategic legal counsel to the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Drafting reviewing and advising on contracts.
2. Ensuring compliance with local (all the countries we are in) national and industryspecific laws.
3. Advising on legal risks and mitigating liabilities.
4. Representing the company in legal matters.
5. Overseeing litigation and liaising with external legal counsel.
6. Developing internal policies to minimize risks.
Requirements
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognized institution and admission to the Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role preferably in the recruitment or HR services industry.
Registered member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) in good standing.
Indepth knowledge of employment and labor laws corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the recruitment industry.
Proven experience in contract drafting legal risk management dispute resolution and providing strategic legal counsel to senior management.
