Job Description

What youll do... 

  • Youll get involved and lead projects. We want to hear your ideas and get your input.
  • Youll lead and manage the Homebase team across the region.
  • Major areas of responsibility/ management include but are not limited to: recruitment wage and salary administration training and employee relations. 
  • Youll ensure that the hotels operate within the employment law framework in each operating state and locality. 
  • You will advise General Managers Senior Leadership and People & Cultures teams on all peoplerelated items.
  • Drive above property initiatives from a brand and/or Ennismore wide perspective.
  • Lead investigations of a serious nature and any that involve multi property concerns. 
  • Provide oversight for labor relations employee relations employment matters employment claims and litigation for Ennismores Home Base Louisville office and for property level matters requiring senior level attention.
  • Drive the performance management process including goal setting alignment to incentive plans and feedback exchange for all properties in the region. These are to be in line with Ennismore global process and programs as set.
  • Ensure Ennismore programs are implemented and adopted within any hotels in the assigned remit.
  • Drive the career development process and succession planning for the region.
  • Establish competitive wage rates staffing plans and employee relations strategy for the brand and region.

Qualifications :

  • You have at least four years experience as the human resource leader in a multiproperty hotel environment; lifestyle hotels a plus.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues solve problems and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to simplify processes and create buyin at all levels.
  • You can partner with anyone to get things done.
  • A quick learner with a growth mindset and are up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
  • You execute. You get things done. You are scarily organized.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and love to share your notes and feedback.
  • You know how to hold people accountable but make people feel good at the same time.
  • Youre a great communicator both verbally and written and a great listener.
  • You are humble & kind; you think big and encourage your team to believe.
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard supports each other and has fun along the way.
