Job Description
As the Director of Financial Systems at Freshworks you will leverage your creativity and innovative thinking to enhance our enterprise applications integration and optimize our financial systems landscape. Your primary focus will be on improving business process efficiency by developing automated solutions and effective architecture. This position reports directly to the VP of Enterprise Business Applications and collaborates closely with the finance team to design impactful solutions prioritize initiatives and drive continuous process improvements. In this dualrole capacity you will lead a team of financial systems analysts developers and administrators combining strategic leadership with handson involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with global finance to develop best practices processes and system integrations to streamline processes and constantly improve the financial systems landscape
- Partner with the line of business (LOB) and applications functional team to provide thought leadership and program management to design develop and deploy financial systems solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in financial systems
- Lead solutions optimization efforts including search functions scripting and workflow automation
- Manage financial systems administration ensuring effective integration and platform consolidation
- Develop maintain and document technical designs for financial systems including workflows exception handling and test cases
- Provide technical expertise and serve as an escalation point for daytoday support
- Evaluate financial systems solutions and features identifying opportunities for improvement
Qualifications :
- 15 years of experience in designing and implementing business systems (ERP integrations)
- 5 years of experience with NetSuite including administration implementation and support
- 5 years of program or project management experience delivering financial SaaS solutions
- Experience in independently architecting and developing data synchronization solutions across NetSuite and other systems. Previous experience using Dell Boomi is a plus
- Strong communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively
- Ability to work handson and strategically across teams to deliver results
- Expertise with tools like NetSuite SuiteCloud SuiteBuilder SuiteFlow SuiteAnalytics SuiteScript and integration tools such as SuiteTalk and REST APIs is a plus
Additional Information :
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of jobrelated factors such as professional background training work experience business needs and market demand. Therefore in some circumstances the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.
Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an inoffice presence 3 days/week (TuesdayThursday).
Compensation Package
$185000 $265000 USD Base Salary
