Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator (SeniorLevel) to join our team at Program Executive Office Simulation Training and Instrumentation in Orlando FL.
- Must be a US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance required
- Nonremote (relocation incentive available)
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting the US Armys PEO STRI in Orlando FL. This role involves the development implementation and security of Government IT systems. Additionally the Administrator will work with other teams to ensure systems are safeguarded and implemented securely maintained and optimized and reliably available to the Government customer.
Responsibilities:
- Install administer support and maintain server hardware peripherals software and operating systems.
- Maintain server environment stability through review of monitoring tools and application of patches after testing.
- Create update and maintain SOPs and knowledge management solutions for continuity and training
- Ensure proper configuration of servers virtual servers storage solutions computers and software necessary for the successful operation in baseline compliance requirements.
- Support Active Directory Management; Systems Center Management; Messaging Management; Clustering Services; Backup and Restoration.
- Assist in developing implementing testing and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
- Manage data backups of servers and equipment configurations per recovery guidelines.
- Implement patch remediation on systems to ensure network security and compliance with Cybersecurity guidelines and regulations.
- Create update and maintain databases required for missionrelated functions.
- Support migration efforts to cloudbased environments including integration of new technologies decommissioning of existing hardware and documentation.

Qualifications :
- US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance
- 8140 Certifications required (CompTIA Security CE CySA GICSP GSEC equivalent or higher).
- Eight 8 years of relevant experience with a comprehensive understanding of IT Infrastructure and Business Analysis.
- Knowledge of Windows servers including Windows PowerShell Active Directory and GPO.
- Working knowledge of virtualized environments (VMWare Linux etc. Windows Server 2012 (or higher) Operating System Certification.
- Familiar with network vulnerability scanners (e.g. Retina ACAS Nessus).
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related IT field.
- IAT Level III Certification required (CompTIA CASP CCNP Security CISA CISSP GIAC equivalent or higher).
- Migration of systems and services to a cloud environment.
- Cloud administrator support experience.
- Application support experience.
- Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical quantitative and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
