Dungarvin supports individuals in Supported Employment to identify and obtain a job in an integrated employment setting in the general workforce. We provide initial and ongoing supports to maintain individualized employment. We are currently approved by Vocational Rehabilitation and contracted with the Oregon Commission of the Blind to provide comprehensive employment planning and job development enhancements for the individuals that we support.
What youll do:
- Coordinating and managing the Supported Employment program and staff assuring that all aspects of the program are developed implemented and monitored to the highest degree possible.
- Networking to build connections with local organizations and agencies to continue to grow the Supported Employment program.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with local businesses to find employment opportunities for the individuals we support.
- Hiring providing ongoing training and retention of highquality staff.
- Collaborating with director and all supervisors within the organization.
- Visiting job sites in community to ensure client success and track progress.
- Developing and implementing individual support plan (ISP) goals behavior support plans (BSPs) or other support documents ensuring services provided align with individuals preferences needs and goals.
- Staff scheduling.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in human services OR an equivalent combination of education experience and abilities.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (experience in supported employment strongly preferred)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Preferred qualifications: previous management/supervisory experience experience in developing and implementing individual programs case management employment agency experience budget implementation
- Must have good decisionmaking time management and communication skills and be responsible and flexible
