AHRC NYC is seeking a Corporate Employment Specialist (CES) to oversee their Employment Business Services program with JP Morgan/Chase. AHRC NYC contracts supported employment programs with businesses throughout the country. The Corporate Employment Specialist will be responsible for supporting employees with intellectual & developmental disabilities in achieving and maintaining meaningful employment as well as assisting with daytoday program operations and ensuring that the highest level of quality customer service is provided to our contract partner and its management. Job Description
The AHRC CES will need to be able to train in and understand the computer programs at Chase to support the AHRC employees. The CES will need to maintain the utmost professionalism and be able to communicate with Chase corporate colleagues Chase staff and RMM. Dress code must be of the dress code expected by Chase.
Chase work site locations: Manhattan/Park Ave Building and the Brooklyn/Metro Tech Building. The CES may need to commute between both buildings when needed.
Pay Rate: $25 per hour.
Schedule: MondayFriday....typically 9am5pm 3540 hours per week.
Responsibilities Overview
Provide a high level of dedicated customer service to assigned contracts and management staff.
Maintain positive working relationships with the goal of expanding existing contracts.
Teach assist and support new workers in their jobs using techniques such as demonstration of tasks modeling counseling observation and discussion.
Provide training and support to workers with disabilities ensuring their success in their roles.
Write detailed service notes after each session to monitor client progress and outcomes.
Assist with daytoday supervision of the program including scheduling time sheets communication with contract customers and general troubleshooting.
Travel to route new workers from home to job sites.
Qualifications :
High school diploma required; Associate degree strongly preferred
Must be highly motivated and have the ability to take charge
Experience working with people who are neurodivergent and have intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience interacting with highlevel management is a plus
Compassion curiosity creativity and optimism required
