Job Description

  • Goal setting for the business development team as per the management decision and developing ways to meet them.
  • Research & Strategies new business opportunities such as new markets trends customers and product.
  • Develop and initiate plans for business and revenue growth and implementing new target/segment market initiatives.
  • Identifying regional market opportunities by coordinating with regional heads/Br. Managers.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market ensuring the attainment of company sales targets and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to assess their future business requirement and market demand.
  • Monitor and direct to team and provide continuous constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Reviewing sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
  • Formulating targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with business development strategies.
  • Accompany sales team for major business negotiation and finalising the deal.
  • Visit regulary to various region to understand the market demand and business intelligance
  • Attending conferences and industry events.
  • Ensure to have good relationship with Key Accounts clients and ensure the better service delivery.
  • Get good references from the existing client for increasing new client database and conversion of new business opportunities.
  • Keep a watch on the market scenario obtaining feedback of our company from clients and review ways to increase our performance level.
  • Maintain list of clients visited business obtained details to be shared with Finance/Mgmt on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with internal operation team to identify gaps between customer expectation and our operation delivery.
  • Assist Regional Manager and Operation Manager in their daytoday operations as and when necessary.
  • Take ownership and accountability
  • Document minutes of all meetings regularly and circulate to Mgmt and stake holders.
  • Conduct weekly meetings maintain and distribute minutes.
  • Team Development and Training initiatives.
