Description
- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle including planning design procurement construction commissioning and final handover.
- Work closely with internal teams such as architects engineers and contractors to develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets.
- Ensure that fitout and expansion projects meet all contractual requirements and client expectations.
- Supervise the installation and integration of MEP systems including power distribution cooling fire suppression and security.
- Track project progress addressing any issues or risks that might affect the delivery timeline.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications local regulations and industry standards.
- Optimize the use of project resources including personnel equipment and materials to maximize productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants contractors and suppliers for effective collaboration and project success.
- Provide regular updates to senior management highlighting progress risks and opportunities.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience managing projects in the construction industry with a focus on client fitout and expansion.
- Deep understanding of MEP systems preferably within the data centre industry.
- Knowledge of local building codes regulations and industry standards.
- Proven project management skills including planning organization and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a history of successful stakeholder management.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problemsolving skills and experience managing risks and conflicts.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
- Experience with new construction projects is advantageous.
